91X Program Schedule

College radio stations have long been the originators of innovative programming. At 91X, we follow this tradition as we bring cutting edge music to our audience, presented in a comfortable context. We mix the latest from modern rock artists with a collection of past 91X favorites to give our listeners a balance of the new along with the proven.

91X programming is consistent throughout the day, so when you decide you're ready for great modern rock you'll know it's here; we don't make you adjust to our schedule. Although we emphasize modern rock, we do offer a few special programs to spice up our primary programming.

X-Blox

Alone, each is an 'X-Block' ... together they are 'X-Blox'. We call this our '2-four-1 Special' -- two times a day 91X bring you four songs from one artist or theme. An X-Block plays each weekday at Noon, and another at 5 p.m.

World Cafe

An eclectic blend of modern rock, rock roots, blues, and folk music along with commentary and in-studio guests. World Cafe airs Monday through Friday from 9:00 until 11:00 a.m. The program is hosted by David Dye and is produced by WXPN in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Visit the producers' Web site.

Music Trax

91X counts down each week's Top 40 modern rock songs on Saturdays from 7:00 until 10:00 p.m. We'll drop in a few 'Music Trax Extras' to give you an early shot of some of the freshest new releases. You'll also occasionally hear interviews from musicians playing live around town.

X-Roads (Crossroads)

The weekend is a time to kick back and relax, so from 7 a.m. Sunday until 2 a.m. Monday Crossroads provides the perfect background to end your weekend. Crossroads features what is known as Adult Album Alternative (AAA) music -- which includes many of the artists heard throughout the week on 91X, with a little less 'edge.' Acoustic sets are a big part of Crossroads, but not all of the music is 'unplugged.'

Cornerstone

Cornerstone is 91X's longest-running program. On Sundays from 7:00 until 10:00 a.m. you'll hear a non-sectarian presentation of contemporary Christian music. ULM alumnus Keith Landrum has kept his dedicated, watchful eye on this show.
